Gallery Gado

This gallery was opened by a woodblock print artist, Masao Ido in 1982 to show his artworks which were created with some professional artisans from a HANMOTO(literally a publisher, but in ukiyo-e tradition it refers to the people or company responsible for the whole printmaking project and sales).

We located along the road「KINUKAKE WAY」. The road leads to KINKAKUJI , RYOANJI, and OMURO NINNAJI.

Please stop by our gallery if you come to Kyoto. There is a mountain: KINUGASAYAMA behind us. You can enjoy woodblock artworks and also, each beautiful seasons.
